Silver Bay V.A. Home Visit, 12 Dec.2010

This was a combined Sector Visit and our final visit for the year ! We met at NorthWoods Cafe over a great meal and discussed our plans to make this visit a memorable one ! We arrived at the V.A. Home and were welcomed by anxious residents and immediatly we started making Christmas Wreaths to hang on the residents room doors...under their close Supervision and suggestions, a lot of laughs were shared and the activity room was overflowing with Smiles!! With the Completed Wreaths we went to visit with our less mobile residents and discussed current events and upcoming visits ! We Organized a Bingo Game where ALL the residents had an opportunity to win a game, Before Departing we asked a Staff member to take our group photo in front of the RED, WHITE and BLUE Decorated Christmas Tree and also presented a Christmas Card to all the Residents Signed by Mn. Patriot Guard Members who have attended Missions over the Northern half of the State these past 2 1/2 month's. Our Photo album is completed and encompasses our first visit last June through today's, including Pictures of some of our own Local Events/Missions. I would like to Express my Thank's and Gratitude to All of the Mn. PGR Members who have been involved with the V.A. Home visit's and also those who showed their Support and Signed the Christmas Card for the Residents,Our Involvement is only possible through Your Participation and Support ! THANK YOU ALL and GOD BLESS YOU !
