The Willmar Sector along with a few MN PG members from other parts of the state were on hand to provide an official welcome home for over 94 soldiers from the 849 MAC in Litchfield. These guys and gals came home April 30th, but this was a special welcome home by the City of Litchfield during their 'Water Days' celebration. Lt. Gov. Molnua and Major General Shellito were on hand to greet them. We had fifteen PG flagholders, nine motorcycles and three cages. Afterward, several of us went over to the American Legion for a bite to eat. Some stayed for the parade at 6PM in which the Soldiers marched and were greeted by thousands of citizens of the Litchfield area.
