Hello,

I am not sure who to direct this too. I hope it will be passed along to the people involved in the farewell ceremony and send off for the 353rd Transportation Company from Buffalo. My husband was deployed one other time but I am not even sure the Patriot Guard existed then and it was a smaller group that left that time, not a whole company. At any rate, this was my first experience with seeing the guard in action. I have to say it was very compelling and quite awesome to see so many riders there and lined up outside the high school with the flags. And then to have them thank US, the family of a soldier, for our service! I was very impressed with how they conducted their whole part of the farewell. So wonderful to see the different ages of the riders and I was happy to see some women amongst the group as well. Today when the busses left the unit was none the less impressive. So, a thousand thank yous for all you do and for the attention you bring to our soldiers!
