Hi Starr,

Thank YOU for your message and it is very difficult to express how much my family appreciates the efforts of the Patriot Guard for providing such a tremendous display of honor and respect for a man who meant so much to so many people especially his children and grandchildren. The reception at my parent's home was buzzing with enthusiasm because of the presence of the Patriot Guard. I think a comment from a family friend Vernon Harms (member of the military honor guard and the veteran who played "taps" on the trumpet) sums everything up, "It was the best Military Service I have ever seen". Knowing Vern, that comment means so much!!!! I felt somewhat guilty that we did not plan to invite you and your colleagues to the reception. Your presence would have been made everything so complete. Checking the pictures you referenced, it looked as if everyone enjoyed the rest of the day in Garrison. Thanks again for everything and I will make every attempt to keep in touch. You and the Patriot Guard have left such a tremendous impression on me. God Bless America!!!

Rick
