As you know, last Wednesday the Austin National Guard unit was deployed. Members of your Patriot Guard were there and escorted the soldiers to the Rochester airport and even into to hanger. My wife, I and many others followed in a automobile convoy to see our soldiers off. Seeing the motorcycles and flags leading these soldiers off on their deployment brought a lump not only to my throat, but to many others I talked to that day.It was a wonderful sight.

I thanked the riders at this send off personally but I wish to thank all of you. That was an impressive send off. I hope when these soldiers come home next year your riders will be there to escort them again. This is a wonderful service and I appreciate it very much.
