The guys that showed up for Gordy's funeral yesterday were amazing! It was cold enough for sure, not as bad as we had it in Granite Falls, but cold none-the-less! We received a lot of thanks from people entering the Church and from the family, Mark and Deb came out to personally thank all of us for being there. Your RC sent Scott, Kirk (our guest who held the Union Jack) and I in a few minutes before 11 so we could attend the Service; the Mission, as it was written, was to end at 11 when the Service started. The LDS service went on for an amazing 1 hour and 50 minutes! I looked out the door and there were our guys, still there, to honor Gordy as he was loaded into the hearse!

I just had to write to recognize and thank those guys; it was above and beyond the call! Truly AMAZING!
