Below are some thanks received in the general e-mail address about the Vets Home Escort Run. What you all do does make a difference, thanks for all of the effort you all put in.

Gentlemen,

I would again like to thank you for your invaluable help in making the Vets Home Escort Run a big success! Please forward this message for me to the Minnesota Patriot Guard who also participated.

After all the riders ( ours and the Patriot Guard) had left, I stayed around and took the opportunity to talk to some of the Vets. They all said that they felt honored by our taking time off to escort them to the show. I told them that it was us that was honored by being part of thier day and being able to "tag along" with them. At one point, I notice one gentleman, sitting in his wheelchair, who had tears in his eyes. I thought that maybe he was in pain, so I asked him what was wrong. It seems that during World War II he was a pilot and he saw "his airplane" on the tarmac. He told me that he wished he could still fly, but that he was still glad to see the type of plane he had flown so long ago! Another fellow, who was obviously NOT an aviator, told me that while he thought the airplanes were very interesting, he really liked " all you people on those motorcycles"! I guess what it all boils down to is this...if we were able to bring a smile or a teary recollection to these Veterans, then it was all very, very much worth it!

We all done good today...Thanks!
