Mn Patriot Guard:

I want you to know what an honor it was not only for me but for the family of Richard Wieme, to have the Patriot Guard present at his funeral. I can't even begin to tell you all of the emotions that I felt that day from the time we arrived at the church and saw the flag line to the time we concluded the service at the cemetery and the flag line once again was standing tall. I can tell you that this was a great honor for his immediate family to have the Patriot Guard present. His Brothers and Sisters all talked to me later that evening and all said " What a tribute to their Brother for his service in the Army". We all know how Soldiers of the past as well as the present, do not receive the respect and "Thank Yous" that they so much deserve. Thanks to all of you, I think this is changing.

May God take Richard to his home of Peace, and watch over all of you as you ride to help our Soldiers and there families make this journey with much deserved Honor.
