- Thank-you and to all other PGR members,
I registered with the PGR last year sometime and have been on a few PGR missions and normally say to myself when I am done that it is too hard and emotional to see the families. But, it just takes the simple "free" ride home to see and understand that I must attend every mission possible and participate for the families. When the funeral and PGR Mission for SSG Riewer was held April 4, 2007 in Frazee , MN , I knew I should go to it also but the snow storm and the 200 mile drive was making me hesitant. But then my son called and said "Dad, you must go because SSG Greg Riewer was in my squad and was my buddy." My son went on to say "Greg was in my gun truck on many missions with me and the day his gun truck hit the IED, I was suppose to be with him, but I was sent to Fallujah on a mission. I got back to be with SSG Riewer after the IED blast in time to say good-bye". With that conversation, I new we must go to the funeral to represent my son and his squad, and we did. We were just as honored to see the PGR there as we went into and came out of the funeral and also when we attended the graveside service. The PGR did an outstanding job on a very cold and windy day. The PGR and the flags along with the missions I attend help me to pay respect and thank other military personnel, besides my son for what they did and continue to do. I just hope and pray that at some point in Aug-07, my wife and I on our motorcycle (with a flag flying) can escort my son home to his wife and my 13 yr old and 4 year old grandchildren.
Thanks again……

Hi,
My name is Angie. My son Sgt Joe B. is in Iraq right now. I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your organization. I have been to 3 funerals of our fallen soldiers and your presence is greatly appreciated and it gives us such a sense of patriotism to see you all there.
That is why I needed to send you this picture. I received it from my son this morning. He occasionally sends pictures of happenings over in Iraq and I thought this picture was pretty special.
Thanks for all you do.
Angie E.
